Horizonbound Pass and More
The Convergence storm that reforged Runeterra has taken a turn to warmer, more tropical, and more pirate-y conditions, and the storm is just on the Horizon—it’s bound to hit soon (by 11AM PT on the 13th)! Chasing the storm are two new Little Legends, Chibi Irelia, and an updated Pass! First things first, let’s take a pass at the pass!
HORIZONBOUND PASS
We’ve made some adjustments to Horizonbound’s Pass structure since our original Runeterra Reforged pass release! Just how and why, well, I’ve got Travis “Riot Dovagedys” Boese, TFT’s cosmetics lead here to discuss!
“Based on feedback for our Runeterra Reforged Pass+, we’ve made some improvements to the Horizonbound Pass, in addition to rigorously evaluating our Passes scheduled for next year. For Horizonbound specifically, we’ve added a variety of Little Legends, an instant Treasure Token reward, and more small improvements throughout. Our long-term goal is to create a special experience with TFT Passes that’s more connected to gameplay, and fits within our larger plans to improve & diversify our overall cosmetics offerings. Additionally, since there’s more work on the player’s side to progress through Passes, we want it to feel like they offer value equal to both the cost & effort you put in. And as always, we’ll continue to keep an eye on feedback and iterate over time.”
With the new Pass, you’ll be able to earn rewards like Little Legends, Treasure Tokens, and emotes just for playing. You’ll also have a handy map to track your progression as you work your way toward the coveted Fiora Emotes—En Garde!
With our Pass+ you’ll also be able to unlock additional Little Legends, Star Shards, three Ship Arenas, a boatload of Treasure Tokens (700 total), and eventually the Bilgewater Bay Arena! We’ve also re-added Little Legend specific eggs for Knife Pup and Knife Hound, as well as a Legendary Little Legend egg too! The Pass+ can be unlocked for 1295 RP, but you don’t have to decide right away—you can always upgrade to the Pass+ later, and retroactively receive everything you would have unlocked with the Pass+ active. Check out the highlights here:
Sometimes it's best to start at the end. The Bilgewater Bay arena will mark your completion of the Pass+ and provide a place to kick back and watch Poros laughing while enjoying a water slide—because in Bildgewater, they put the laughter in Slaughter Docks.
Along the way to Bilgewater Bay, you’ll unlock three Ship themed arenas, each one referencing a different faction in Runeterra. Check out the Ship of Discovery, Ship of Innovation, and the Ship of Shadows below.
Our Pass+ Little Legend, Stellacorn Lightcharger, is found frequently grazing the crags of Mount Targon, this Little Legend is ready to make it to the top of the mountain, or the lobby! Only 1-star Stellacorn Lightcharger will be available in the Pass+, so you’ll need to devote Star Shards to ascend the craggy peaks (remember your rope, pitons, and helmet as well)!
Stellacorn Lightcharger isn’t the only Little Legend in the Pass. Scuba Sprite is always there with a bubble when your air supply’s in trouble whether you’ve activated the Pass+ or are just enjoying the free Pass track!
When exploring a place like Runeterra, you're bound to come across the odd life-draining power or serpent slaying harpoon. Check out the Pass+ Booms: Shadow’s Grasp, Serpent Slayer, Bandle Blast!, Toxic Cloud.
What is a Bandle Blast! even made from?
CHIBI IRELIA AND DIVINE SWORD IRELIA
Dance like nobody’s watching. Fight like your homeland depends on it! You can repel the Noxian invasion, or bottom four with Chibi Irelia directly from the shop for 1900 RP. She’ll come with her signature Boom, Vanguard’s Edge, that’s sure to swing the tide of battle.
With the power of a dragon and the cuteness of a Chibi, this goddess is here to blade-dance her way into your heart. Chibi Divine Sword Irelia is a Star Content drop from Treasure Realms whose finisher alludes to her fabled dealings with Dragon Kings and fools.
Chibi Divine Sword Irelia will be available until our next set via Treasure Realms, at which time she will be vaulted until her next Treasure Realm appearance further down the road.

RANKED REWARDS
You’ve bravely wandered Runeterra amidst a convergence storm, and if you made it to Gold or higher along the way then there’ll be a special emote for you to flex with!
If you played Hyper Roll and finished Green, Blue, Purple, or Hyper tier then you’ll get an emote to signal that too!
And if you’ve been exploring Runeterra with a friend, good on you, cause it’s dangerous to wander alone, plus you could get any of these Double Up emotes if you hit Gold or higher!
That’s it for the moment, but while I have you, be sure to check out our Gameplay Overview and Talking Tactics articles!
