GENERAL OVERVIEW
WHAT: The EMEA Golden Spatula is a 3-day tournament where the best 32 tacticians in EMEA compete to be crowned as the champion of the region.
WHEN: This tournament will take place on November 1-3: Each day, there will be an amazing pre-show starting at 15:30 CET. Then, the first round will be at 16:00 CET.
WHO: The Top 32 players from EMEA.
WHERE: On the official Teamfight Tactics Twitch channel, on YouTube and on the official co-streamers channels.
WHY: 46,000€ in cash prize and 9 spots in the Magic n' Mayhem Tactician's Crown.
FORMAT EXPLAINER
First, on Day 1, 32 tacticians will play 6 rounds. At the beginning, they'll be randomly separed into four different lobbies. Then, they'll be snake-reseeded after every two games.
On Day 2, all the players will keep their points from the first day, following the same format through 6 more games. Then, the Top 8 tacticians will qualify for the final day. After that, the Top 4 Qualifier Points earners will get a spot in the Magic n' Mayhem Tactician's Crown.
Finally, on Day 3, the Top 8 tacticians will play 6 games to decide who will be crowned as the EMEA Champion and who will claim the remaining five spots in the Tactician's Crown (Top 4 in standings + Top 1 AVP within the last day).
QUALIFICATION SYSTEM
TCup Winners. The 3 winners of the Tactician’s Cups in Magic N’ Mayhem will join the EMEA Golden Spatula.
Ranked Ladder Point earners. The 14 players with the most Ranked Ladder Points (via Snapshots) will play in the EMEA Golden Spatula (10 from EUW, 1 from EUNE, 1 from TR, 1 from RU and 1 from ME).
Qualifier Point earners. Little by little, the 14 tacticians with the most Qualifier Points will play in the EMEA Golden Spatula.
Meet at Rift LAN champion. The tactician crowned as the Meet at Rift LAN Champion will also win a spot in the EMEA Golden Spatula.
