Prepare your hextech innovations and get ready to jump into the chaos! The Tactician's Cup II is right around the corner, so here’s everything you need to know about the second tournament of Into the Arcane.

GENERAL OVERVIEW

The Tactician’s Cups are 3-day tournaments where 128 tacticians compete for a spot in the EMEA Golden Spatula, Qualifier Points and a 11,500€ prize pool.

The Tactician’s Cup II will take place on February 14-15 at 16:00 CET and on February 16 at 15:00 CET.

This competition will be streamed on the TeamfightTactics Twitch channel and on the official co-streamers channels.

COMPETITIVE FORMAT

On Day 1, 128 tacticians will play six rounds with a Swiss System reseed between every two games. After that, the field will be cut in half to 64 players.

For Day 2, they’ll play following the same format. Then, the Top 32 players will make it to day 3.

Last, Day 3 will change to Snake Seeding every 2 games and consist of 3 stages:

  1. The 32 tacticians will play 5 games with Snake Reseed between every 2 games.

  2. After that, the Top 16 players will play 1 more game without a point reset.

  3. Finally, the Top 8 tacticians will play a last game without a point reset. The player with the most points at the end of Stage 3 wins the tournament.

QUALIFICATION SYSTEM

The Tactician’s Cup II will be played by 128 tacticians, who qualify for the tournament through one of these paths:

PREVIOUS TACTICIAN’S CUP

The Top 4 players of the Tactician’s Cup I secured their spot on the upcoming tournament.

CUP SNAPSHOT

Each Cup Snapshot will provide 64 spots in the Tactician’s Cup (36 from EUW, 12 from EUNE, 8 from TR, 4 from RU and 4 from ME).

TEAMFIGHT TACTICS REGIONAL COMPETITIONS

The champion or current #1 of each TRC will secure their spot in the Tactician’s Cup.

SECOND TACTICIAN TRIALS

The Top 50 players from the Tactician Trials will make it to their respective Tactician’s Cup.
