K.O. Coliseum Tactician’s Crown Announcement
This November 14–16, the gates of the K.O. Coliseum will open as the world’s top 40 players enter the arena to battle for the Tactician’s Crown. After months of grueling contests and rising champions across the globe, the stage is set for one final clash under the roar of the crowd. Here are the initial details for the next global event.
Tactician’s Crown Info
The K.O. Coliseum Tactician’s Crown will take place November 14-16, bringing together the top 40 players from 4 regions. For the first time, qualified players will be competing in an offline setting - AMER and EMEA players will gather in Alicante, Spain while APAC and CN players will be meeting up in an offline venue in the CN region!
Seeds:
Here’s the breakdown of who we’ll be seeing at the Tactician’s Crown:
- 12 slots have been allocated for players from the TFT Pro Circuit
- Players qualify from TPC Cups 1,2, and 3
- The Tactician’s Crown will also have a minimum number of slots reserved for the following Regions:
- APAC: 8
- CN: 8
- AMER: 6
- EMEA: 6
- 40 total players

After three days of competition, one player will take home the Tactician’s Crown, $150K USD, and become the K.O. Coliseum Champion!
Prize Pool
Players will be competing for their share of the $470K USD total prize pool. Check out the breakdown below:

Event Format
Points
Points earned throughout the event will be awarded for each player based on the results of each game: 8/7/6/5/4/3/2/1 (ie: first place wins 8 points, eighth place wins 1 point).
Starting Lobbies
The top 40 players will be split into starting lobbies based on a snake draft selection process.
Event Schedule
Day 1
- Round 1
- 40 players will be drawn into their 5 starting lobbies and play 6 games total
- The lobbies will shuffle after every 2 games; lobbies will be shuffled based on the total points earned throughout the day
- After Game 6, the top 32 players will advance to Day 2, and the bottom 8 players will be eliminated
Day 2
- Round 2
- Players retain their points from Day 1
- 32 players will be split into 4 lobbies and play 2 games
- After Game 2, the top 24 players will advance and the bottom 8 players will be eliminated
- Round 3
- 24 players will be split into 3 lobbies and play 2 games
- After Game 4, the top 16 players will advance and the bottom 8 players will be eliminated
- Round 4
- 16 players will be split into 2 lobbies and play 2 games
- After Round 4, the top 4 players in Total Points across Day 1 & 2 will advance to the Finals and the bottom 4 Players will be eliminated
- The 5th-12th place players in Total Points across Day 1&2 will advance to Round 5
- Round 5
- 8 players will play 1 game
- The top 4 players in Total Points across Day 1&2 will advance to the Grand Final
Grand Final
- Checkmate Format - The first player to hit 20 points AND then secure a first-place finish will be crowned the K.O. Coliseum Champion!
