Teamfight Tactics patch 14.8 notes (2025)
Changes for Cyber City, Remix Rumble, and a patch of Choncc’s Treasures—let’s go!
Welcome Cyber City locales, Remix Rumblers, and Choncc's Treasure hunters alike!
It's the last patch of Cyber City and we're taking to the streets with the return of Choncc's Treasure and changes that'll surely leave their mark! We just revealed our next set, K.O. Coliseum, over the weekend during this set's Tactician's Crown, and now it's time to make sure every comp gets a chance to shine in the neon lights. We're also sneaking in a few fun and chaotic easter-egg style changes to spice things up—those changes will be in their very own section!
Enjoy the last patch of Cyber City, and kick back with some popcorn while catching up on the K.O. Coliseum Dev Drop!

PATCH HIGHLIGHTS
ROTATING SHOP INFOGRAPHIC
K.O. COLISEUM CORNER
Get ready! Fight! K.O. Coliseum releases with our next patch (15.1) on July 30th. Catch up on the latest on the new set below!
ROTATING SHOP CADENCE ADJUSTMENTS
We're experimenting with different rotation cadences for the Rotating Shop. That means your shop offerings might look different from your friends', but don't worry—you won't miss out on anything you're looking for in the shop because of this test.
Players with faster shop rotations will see fewer items per refresh, but more total content throughout the patch. Everything included in the standard 14-day (one patch) rotation will still appear within that same 14-day window—just spread across more frequent updates.
And if you're looking for another shot at this rotation's offerings, good news: we're planning to bring them all back early on during K.O. Coliseum.
- Some players will have a shop rotate every 7 days
- Some players will have a shop rotate every 2 days (fast)
- All other players will see the normal 14 day rotation
CHONCC'S TREASURE RETURNS
Choncc's Treasure makes a return for the final patch of Cyber City (this patch), so what are you waiting for? Go three-star that 5-cost! We've got a new rare Opening Encounter and a few changes since the mode was last active with Into the Arcane, so give ‘em a read.
- newOpening Encounter: All players receive a Garen on stage 1-2.
- Opening champion now has a 100% chance to be unique
- Item Removers no longer drop by default from PvE rounds. You've got a Golden (reusable) Item Remover to help with that.
- Delayed Start and Restart Mission Augment are now disabled
HYPER ROLL
As we announced back in May, 14.8 marks Hyper Roll's final patch as a permanent TFT Game Mode. For more information, please check out our Dev Video here.
SYSTEMS
HACKS
More time to speed run TFT with Cruel Pact, spam cast with Blue Battery III, or miss all your rolls with a re-enabled Think Fast!
- Black Market Augments have a much higher chance of appearing on 2-1
LARGE CHANGES
Large, like the reveal for K.O. Coliseum during our Dev Drop which aired over the weekend!
TRAITS
Whether you're getting scrappy with your Nitro units or your Intel stockpile, we're sending our big number stacking traits into a buyer's market. Thanks to the new Cypher Emblem and Augments, Cypher (6) is now on the table. Found often at the tippy-top or bottom of Lobbies, this trait enjoys short walks on the beach, three-star 5-costs, and long walks on the beach. Invest in Cypher now!
- newCypher (6) added
- Cypher (6) 2.5x Intel Multiplier
- Cypher (6) 90 Attack Damage and Ability Power
- Nitro Health per Scrap: 12 ⇒ 14
1-COST CHAMPIONS
Kindred's never had their moment to carry items into the mid game, let alone the late game. We're giving them a sizable three and four-star buff for those Deathblade fueled bursts.
- Kindred AD Ratio: 520/520/540/560% ⇒ 520/520/575/630%
2-COST CHAMPIONS
Whether your go-to comp is named after the other 2-cost, or you've just been holding items for Neeko, it's time to make those item slots less open.
- Darius Healing: 200/220/240 ⇒ 200/220/260
- Ekko Heal: 300/375/475 ⇒ 330/415/525
3-COST CHAMPIONS
Could this (and the Ekko buff) be the return of reroll Street Demon?
- Jinx Rocket AD Ratio: 140/140/150% ⇒ 140/140/165%
5-COST CHAMPIONS
We're giving more damage to Aurora to make carry-builds feel impactful, while lowering the Attack Speed of her unbenched unit.
Making Kobuko's second phase a boss fight worthy of a retro-gaming soundtrack.
With another AP buff, maybe this Lizard Wizard can become the King Gizzard.
This Zac change will certainly be impactful…in my rolldowns.
- Aurora Swapped unit AS: 50/100/1000% ⇒ 40/80/1000%
- Aurora Split Damage: 525/800/9999 ⇒ 560/840/9999
- Kobuko Phase 2 Enrage AS: 125% ⇒ 140%

- Zac Blob appearance rate doubled
- Zac AP per Blob: 2 ⇒ 1
- Zac HP% per Blob: 3% ⇒ 1.5%
ITEMS
- Cypher Emblem added
AUGMENTS
The biggus Chuggus Buggus is among us.
Can't wait to deCypher those end-game screens with the cashouts from the new Cypher Emblem (and its Augments).
With our Tactician's Crown now resting on the head of someone (SPOILERS GEEZ), we're bringing back Think Fast, and Augment we had to disable temporarily for our most competitive patch due to competitive integrity and because it's very very very good on our pro's, especially with lower ping.
- Chug Bug (Gragas) Empowered Damage: 465/700/1050 ⇒ 500/750/1200
- Chug Bug (Gragas) Heal: 300/375/450 ⇒ 315/395/475
- Cypher Crest (2-1 Only) Added: Grants a Cypher Emblem.
- Cypher Crown (2-1 Only) Added: Grants a Cypher Emblem, a Giant Slayer, and a Leblanc.
- Think Fast (Black Market Augment) has been Re-enabled
