K.O. COLISEUM PASS PART 1
If you want to get even more from the Pass, you can upgrade it to the Pass+ for 1295 RP. As a reminder, you can always wait to see how far you can get on the free version of the Pass before upgrading to claim all the rewards you’ve unlocked along the way. Personally, I’ve been loving the “claim all” button for it. Without further ado, let’s check out the offerings.

ROTATING SHOP CADENCE ADJUSTMENTS UPDATE
In patch 14.8, we mentioned that we’ll be experimenting with different rotation cadences for the Rotating Shop. We’re pausing the experiment to work out some kinks and will update once that’s going again!
RANKED REWARDS - VICTORIOUS DUCKBILL
Ranked rewards for Cyber City will begin their distribution with patch 15.1 (you're currently reading its patch note!)! Victorious Duckbill will accompany you in your battles through K.O. Coliseum if you achieved Gold or higher in Cyber City Ranked, Double Up, or Blue n’ higher in Hyper Roll.

NEW RANKED SEASON
Time to fight for your spot at the top of K.O. Coliseum.
When K.O. Coliseum goes live in your region, or after you download the latest mobile patch, you can start climbing.
Depending on your rank in the previous set, you will start anywhere from Iron II to Silver IV. This is true for both Double Up and Standard ranked.
You will get 5 provisional matches after the reset, meaning you will not lose any LP for bottom 4 placements in your first 5 ranked games of the new stage. You'll also gain extra LP for finishing top 4, so best of luck!
Note that there's still a 24h period of delay between mobile and PC going live.
During that time, Mobile players who have not yet gotten the new set in their region won't be able to climb the ladder on the old set.
HYPER ROLL
We’re saying goodbye to Hyper Roll with the release of K.O. Coliseum. We’re thankful for all the players that loved TFT’s first-ever game mode, and we’re committed to exploring more ways to play TFT, coming soon. For more information, watch here.

TEAM PLANNER UPGRADES - TRAIT FILTERING
You asked, we delivered. You can now filter by Traits on Team Planner on PC, and mobile in the near future!.

SYSTEMS
SET MECHANIC: POWER UPS
Power Snax are the most sought-after bite of the summer. Twice per game, you'll unlock the hidden potential of the unit of your choice.
Power Ups are powerful effects that you can grant to ANY champion through a Power Snax consumable.
You are granted a Power Snax twice per game, once at Round 1-3 and again at Round 3-6.
Using a Power Snax on a champion opens an armory of 3 Power Ups for them. Selecting an option grants them that Power Up.
Each Champion has their own pool of available Power Ups that work for them or enhance them uniquely.
Power Ups can enhance a champion in many different ways: Trait improvements/play pattern changes, Team-Ups/Duos, Perma-stacking, Ability/Functionality changes and more…
Power Ups can be removed by selling the champion anytime or by using a Power Remover consumable that is acquired once per stage.
Power Ups are only active while champions are fielded on the player’s board, similar to traits.
INCREASED ROUND TIMER
With Power Ups and numerous other changes coming to K.O. Coliseum, we’re increasing the 2-1 planning phase duration so you have enough time to pick your augment, scout, read through your Power Ups… and even run to the washroom real quick? On second thought, that’s probably too ambitious.
2-1 Planning Phase Duration: 50s ⇒ 60s
MANA REGERATION
Champions no longer generate mana based on damage taken by default. This will solve for weird edge cases like a front line fighter casting infinitely by soaking damage and healing it all back up with a Blood Thirster, or splash damage making the enemy backline cast faster.
Roles will now determine how each unit gains mana.
ROLES REVAMPED
We’re revisiting unit roles and evolving them. For a more in-depth explanation, check out the article.
TL;DR: All units in TFT now have 1 of 6 roles. Roles have unique passives that affect the unit’s gameplay. You can check out the role of a unit in the inspect panel
Tank:
5 Mana per attack.
Generates Mana from taking damage.
More likely to be targeted.
Fighter:
10 Mana per attack.
Has 8-20% Omnivamp (based on Stage).
Assassin:
10 Mana per attack.
Less likely to be targeted.
Marksman:
10 Mana per attack.
Caster:
7 Mana per attack.
Generates 2 mana each second.
Specialist:
Generates resources in a unique way.
CHAMPION TARGETTING
Previously, if there are two units equal distance away, it was a 50/50 toss up as to who would take aggro. With Roles Revamped, we’re adjusting champion targeting.
For tiebreakers in the situation we just described, units will target based on the following priority from most likely to least likely:
Tanks > Fighters/Makersman/Caster/Specialists > Assassins
CLASS EMBLEMS
Continuing from Cyber City, we’re encouraging you to find the best wielder for the class emblem rather than just slamming it on a designated trait-bot. The possibilities are endless. What will you come up with?
Bastion: Gain 15% of Armor as AD and 15% of MR as AP.
Battle Academia: Gain 10% Damage Amp per Potential
Duelist: Attacks deal 12 True Damage, +6 true damage for each subsequent attack on the same target.
Executioner: Critical Strikes deal 20% bonus true damage as a bleed over 3 seconds.
Edgelord: Dealing damage reduces enemy armor by 2.
Heavyweight: Gain 150 health on takedown.
Juggernaut: Gain 30% AS when over 50% Health
Prodigy: On cast, shield the lowest health ally for 250% of mana spend.
Protector: When a shield on the holder breaks, shield the nearest ally for 150% of the shield's value.
Strategist: Combat Start: The holder and allies within 1 hexes in the same row gain bonuses. Front 2 rows: 30 Armor and Magic Resist. Back 2 rows: 20% Attack Speed
Sniper: +2 range
Sorcerer: 15% more ability power from all sources.
OPENING ENCOUNTERS
With all the changes coming, we’re keeping it simple with the opening encounters. These should be ones you’re already familiar with.
16.1% Yasuo: Go for the gold with three Gold augments!
8.1% Gwen: It's the ultimate showdown! All augments are Prismatic this game.
8.1% Zyra: Zyra swaps the last augment to prismatic this game.
9.7% Lee Sin: This battle begins with a Prismatic augment!
16.1% Twisted Fate: Choose your weapon! Get two component anvils.
6.5% Yone: Pick up a signature weapon from this Artifact Anvil.
12.1% Yuumi: The arena is filled with crabs carrying bonus loot.
4.0% Seraphine: The arena is filled with crabs carrying bonus loot. After Stage 5 they are DEADLY HAZARDS.
6.5% Akali: Get highly varied loot at the start of each stage!
6.5% Lulu: Train your Golem! It has three random emblems.
6.5% Braum: Receive a cash prize at the start of each Stage!
THREE-STAR FIVE COSTS
When you hit a three-star five cost, that’s achieving one of the top power fantasies in TFT. It’s an auto win, right?! Riiighhhht?! With this change, we’re making sure they will definitely cast before something truly unfortunate happens.
3* 5-costs are now immune to Crowd Control and gain 20 Mana Regen.
BAG SIZE FOR LULU
We have been seeing lots of questions on how bag size works for Lulu and her monsters, so we’re taking this opportunity to clear things up.
Lulu is a standard 3 cost, with 18 copies in the pool. However, once you pick a monster, you’re pulling from the bag size of that specific monster. You’re also taking a Lulu out of the pool for players who have not yet chosen a monster.
For example, one player has 9 copies of Smolder, and another has 9 copies of Rammus. If you have never fielded a Lulu yet (and therefore haven’t chosen a monster), you won’t see Lulu in your shop anymore, because all 18 copies are gone. However, those two players will continue to find Smolder and Rammus (9 copies of each left in the pool).
Hopefully, this helps you in your journey to become the best monster trainer like no one ever was!
LARGE CHANGES
Large, like the size of Seraphine’s Ultimate Friendship Bomb
3RD PARTY FRIENDS
There’s so much content coming with K.O. Coliseum that we can’t possibly cover it with these patch notes. Good thing we have plenty of friends who’re more than willing to lend a helping hand with things like comp guides, pretty cheat sheets, and more!

SUPPORT ITEMS
Finally, Support items have been removed from K.O. Coliseum. While these items were useful, they added a lot of complexity for a relatively low level of excitement for players. We understand the need for these outputs in TFT and are exploring other ways to provide them to players in less RNG-dependent and higher satisfaction avenues.
Augments that only grant Support items have been removed. Loot tables that include Support items have their rewards adjusted.Loot Subscription Opening Encounter: Support Anvil ⇒ Lucky Item Chest
Golden Egg: Support item rewards removed
Exalted Adventure: Support Anvils replaced with Completed Item Anvils and gold
BUG FIXES
With K.O. Coliseum, we're fixing a long-standing bug with our trait tracker. In the past, moving to see additional traits would cause the tracker to flip back to the previous trait panel. Flip back, flip out, this bug is squashed!
Trait tracker panel will no longer flip to the previous tab when you check out the overflow.
