TFT | K.O. Coliseum Overview
Whisker is pivoting away from a career in cyberinsecurity by hosting the fighting tournament of the summer! Welcome to K.O. Coliseum, where fighters from across the Convergence have gathered for glory, notoriety, and friendship!
TFT’s next set will be available on July 30th with patch 15.1. Gather round while we share the deets on the upcoming lineup. But stick around till the end to find out how to achieve the Prismatic breakpoints for some of these traits.
SOUL FIGHTER

- Naafiri 1G Juggernaut
- Lux 2G Sorcerer
- Xin Zhao 2G Bastion
- Viego 3G Duelist
- Samira 4G Edgelord
- Sett 4G Juggernaut
- Gwen 5G Sorcerer
Can it truly be a fighting tournament without Soul Fighters? They've been training all their lives for this. Stronger together, they gain bonus health, as well as stacking Attack Damage and Ability Power every second up to 8 stacks! At max stacks, they unlock their max power, gaining true damage on their abilities and attacks.
Gwen stands on top as the 5-Cost of the Soul Fighters. She’s weaving threads with every cast, which detonate on the third cast, dealing damage to all enemies.
STAR GUARDIAN
- Rell 1G Bastion
- Syndra 1G Prodigy, Crystal Gambit
- Xayah 2G Edgelord
- Ahri 3G Sorcerer
- eeko 3G Protector
- Jinx 4G Sniper
- Poppy 4G Heavyweight
- Seraphine 5G Prodigy
Star Guardians power up through friendship, gaining a unique Teamwork Bonus for every Star Guardian on the board.
Seraphine scales off the bonus stats from her team, empowering her Ultimate Friendship Bomb that strikes all enemies within a 2-hex radius.
CRYSTAL GAMBIT
- Syndra 1G Star Guardian, Prodigy
- Janna 2G Protector, Strategist
- Vi 2G Juggernaut
- Swain 3G Bastion, Sorcerer
- Ashe 4G Duelist
- Zyra 5G Rosemother
Crystal Gambit shows up in style. Kills and losses during player combats will earn you Gem Power. Every 4 player combats, it’s your choice whether to cash out or double down. When you’re doubling down, you gain 100% more Gem Power, but if you win, you’ll lose 50% Gem Power and cash out immediately.
Zyra, the Rosemother, is bringing her versatile garden to the tourney. She’s summoning untargetable Thornspitters that not only damage enemies but also boost the Attack Speed of all her allies!
MIGHTY MECH
- Aatrox 1G Juggernaut
- Lucian 1G Sorcerer
- Gangplank 2G Duelist
- Senna 3G Executioner
- Jarvan IV 4G Strategist
- Karma 4G Sorcerer
- Yone 5G Edgelord
Get ready for “Me Mech” in chat again. Every Mighty Mech you field strengthens the Mighty Mech. The higher the star level, the more power!
Yone is ready to slice and dice his enemies. His attacks grant stacking Attack Speed and Movement Speed and alternate between bonus true damage and magic damage. When he casts, he sends an echo to the two furthest enemies, dealing damage and knocking them up.
WRAITH
- Kayle 1G Duelist
- Zac 1G Heavyweight
- Jhin 2G Sniper
- Malzahar 3G Prodigy
- K’Sante 4G Protector
- Varus 5G Sniper
Wraiths derive their power from the Shadow Realm, channeling it to strike the three closest enemies. But it’s not just all pain. The lowest health Wraith heals for 18% of the damage dealt by Wraiths and the Shadow Realm.
Varus is the ultimate manifestation of the Shadow Realm, gaining mana when units die. His cast rains down piercing arrows on enemies until he exhausts his mana.
BATTLE ACADEMIA
- Ezreal 1G Prodigy
- Garen 1G Bastion
- Katarina 2G Executioner
- Rakan 2G Protector
- Caitlyn 3G Sniper
- Jayce 3G Heavyweight
- Leona 4G Bastion
- Yuumi 4G Prodigy
Grab your books, school is in session. Battle Academia units are constantly learning, unlocking their true potential, and upgrading their abilities.
LUCHADOR
- Gnar 1G Sniper
- Dr. Mundo 2G Juggernaut
- Volibear 4G Edgelord
- Braum 5G The Champ, Bastion
Whatever your favorite wrestling move is, the Luchadors have perfected it. Gaining bonus Attack Damage, they get their second wind at 50% health, cleanse negative effects, heal, and leap into the ring to knock up their enemies. Someone get them a folding chair!
Braum isn't just bringing his powerful moves; he's also got die-hard fans as The Champ. Every victory will grant two Poro Fans. On loss, Poro Fans will prevent 1 Tactician damage each, but the disappointment of the loss will result in 75% of them going home.
MENTOR
- Kobuko 2G Heavyweight
- Udyr 3G Juggernaut, Duelist
- Yasuo 3G Edgelord
- Ryze 4G Executioner, Strategist
The Mentors are ready to train their next star pupil. Could you be the one? They don’t exactly play well with each other, but if you can entice all four of these geezers to join your team, you’ll gain all bonuses and upgrade their abilities.
THE CREW
- Malphite 1G Protector
- Sivir 1G Sniper
- Shen 2G Bastion, Edgelord
- Ziggs 3G Strategist
- Twisted Fate 5G Rogue Class
Better together, the crew gains health and Attack Speed for each Crew member fielded. Every 3-star Crew champion grants additional bonuses. Once enough of them are 3-starred, they’ll call in their starship to rain down destruction. Can we get a rule check here? Is the tournament really allowing for backup like this?!
As the captain of the Crew, Twisted Fate’s got some special cards up his sleeve. These Bounty Cards will be drawn at the start of every round, empowering The Crew members or granting rewards. Twisted Fate’s attacks bounce between four enemies, dealing damage and marking them. When he casts, the marks detonate, dealing magic damage.
SUPREME CELLS
- Kennen 1G Protector, Sorcerer
- Kai’Sa 2G Duelist
- Darius 3G Heavyweight
- Akali 4G Executioner
To be the Supreme, you gotta do the most damage. All Cells gain Damage Amp, but the Supreme gains more and executes enemies under 10% health.
STANCE MASTER
As a Stance Master, Lee Sin can pick a trait that’s best suited for battle. Choose between Duelist Stance, Executioner Stance, and Juggernaut Stance, and the unique ability with it.
MONSTER TRAINER
Lulu just wants to be the best Monster Trainer she can be! Which Monster will you choose? We got Kog’Maw, who can zap the enemies; Rammus, who’s tanky and repelling his enemies by the power (and smell) of durian; or, lastly, Smolder, whose fiery sneeze makes him a lovable AD caster—just bring your fireproof handkerchief.

SET MECHANIC: POWER UPS
The hottest snack of the summer? Power Snax, of course. At the start of every game, you’ll get one and give it to whoever you like. They will unlock an armory of special power ups tailored just for them. And if they’re not quite measuring up, don’t worry, you can always use a remover to use it on another champion. Later on in the game, you’ll get another one, so you can reach the peak of two units at once!
PRISMATIC TRAITS
Alright, let’s talk Prismatic Traits. As we mentioned in the Cyber City Learnings article, hitting Prismatic Traits feels really good, but when you know someone is inevitably going to hit them with a lucky Emblem and Trainer Golem combo at the start of a game, it can be demoralizing for everyone else in the lobby.
Here is how we are changing things up for K. O. Coliseum. To reach Prismatic breakpoints for Traits, you’ll need to complete certain mini quests:
The Crew: 3-star every Crew unit.
Mighty Mech: Collect three powerful Mighty Mech Augments.
Battle Academia: Put enough completed items on Battle Academia units.
Star Guardian: Field 8 Star Guardians, then spend enough Mana.
Crystal Rose: Cash out the right high-tier prize.
Soul Fighter: Field 8 Soul Fighters, then deal enough player damage through winning combat.
What will these Prismatic Traits do? Guess you’ll have to hop into a game to find out!
That’s all from us this time. Check out the Roles Revamped and Item Changes article to see what else is coming with K.O. Coliseum. As always, see you in the Convergence!
