The Next TFT Open Heads to Macao!

The global open-bracket event will take place Dec 13 - 15.

Last year, we hosted the first-ever global LAN event for TFT - the Vegas Open - for 500+ competitors and 1000+ spectators at the MGM Grand Convention Center in Las Vegas. The weekend was packed with players enjoying action packed TFT, dev panels, and community meet-ups. On the final day, milala claimed the Vegas Open title and hoisted the Tactician’s Belt.

The success of the Vegas Open solidified our plans for future open-bracket LAN events and we’re excited to announce that this year, we will be taking the TFT Open to Macao, a dazzling city seated within one of our largest TFT player bases. We’ll bring together 512 competitors from December 13 - 15 for the biggest TFT tournament of the year. Players will compete for a piece of the $300K prize pool, the Tactician’s Belt, and the Macao Open title!

Event Information

The event will be held at the Venetian Macao!

There will be multiple ways to play TFT at the Macao Open including the Main Event and a variety of Side Events.

Main Event

Welcome to the main event! 512 competitors will enter on Day 1 and only one player will win it all on Day 3. Players will compete on Set 13, which will launch shortly before the event kicks off! The seeding, point system, and format can be found below.

Side Events

Players who are not actively participating in the Main Event have the option to enter into a variety of Side Events! This year, free game stations will be converted into fun modes including Normals, 4v4, Mastermind (1v1 mode with each player controlling 4 PCs at once!), and exclusive game modes.

Main Event Format

Seeding

Players will initially be seeded based on their Set 12, Magic n’ Mayhem ranking. After Round 1, players will be seeded via snake draft based upon the points they earn throughout the tournament.
