GENERAL OVERVIEW

WHAT: The EMEA Golden Spatula is a 3-day tournament where the best 32 tacticians in EMEA compete to be crowned as the champion of the region. For further information, check the TFT esports EMEA Rulebook and the Competitive 101.

WHEN: We’ll celebrate the EMEA Golden Spatula on June 27-29. Each day, there will be a pre-show at 15:30 CEST. Then, the first round will be at 16:00 CEST.

WHO: The Top 32 players from EMEA.

WHERE: On the Teamfight Tactics Twitch channel, on the official co-streamers channels and on YouTube.

WHY: 46,000€ in cash prize and 9 spots in the Cyber City Tactician's Crown.

FORMAT EXPLAINER

The EMEA Golden Spatula is a 3-day showdown where the top 32 tacticians from EMEA battle it out for the ultimate regional title.

On Day 1, the 32 players will face off in 6 rounds. They’ll be split by a previous draft into 4 lobbies, with the winners of each Tactician’s Cup and the Top Qualifier Points player leading each lobby. After every two games, they’ll be snake-seeded, and the Top 24 players will move on to Day 2.

On Day 2, these 24 players will play another 4 rounds, with the top 16 then proceeding to 2 additional rounds.The Top 8 then advance to the final day. The Top 4 Qualifier Points players will also secure spots in the Cyber City Tactician's Crown.
On Day 3, the Top 8 tacticians will play 6 more games to determine who takes the EMEA Championship and who claims the remaining spots in the Tactician’s Crown.

HOW TO PLAY

The 32 tacticians competing in the EMEA Golden Spatula will have earned their spots through four different paths:

  • Tactician’s Cup Winners. The 3 winners of the Tactician’s Cups in Cyber City will join the EMEA Golden Spatula.

  • Ranked Ladder Point earners. The 14 players with the most Ranked Ladder Points will play in the EMEA Golden Spatula (10 from EUW, 1 from EUNE, 1 from TR, 1 from RU and 1 from ME).

  • Qualifier Points Earners. The top 15 tacticians with the most Qualifier Points will secure their spot in the EMEA Golden Spatula.
