TFT Macao Open Spectator Experience
The TFT Macao Open, our second annual global LAN event, will be taking place at the Venetian Macao from December 13-15. Players and fans from all over the world are welcome to experience the ultimate TFT celebration, including a massive 512-person open-bracket Main Event, a variety of Side Events, TFT dev panels, in-person co-streamers, cosplay showcases, and more!

Ways to Compete and Play
If you’re wondering what kinds of events you can join, read on to find out more about the full roster of events. We previously announced the Main Event format and details here. Now it’s time to share more about the Main Event Waitlist and additional Side Events that attendees can participate in.
Main Event Waitlist
If you weren’t able to snag a Competitor Bundle but still want to compete in the Main Event, make sure to come join the Waitlist. If spots for the Main Event become available, you will be placed into the competition on a first come, first serve basis. Additional details will be provided on-site regarding the waitlist process.
Registration Window: Friday, Dec 13 from 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM GMT +8
Tournament Side Events
This year, we will host a number of additional competitive events with real cash prizes!
4v4 Double Elimination
Grab your friends and come compete in the 4v4 Double Elimination Tournaments! Players will form teams of 4 and work together to win a piece of the prize pool.
Day: Saturday, Dec 14
- Format
- Bracket: Double Elimination
- # of Brackets: 2
- # of Games: Best of 1, Grand Finals Best of 3
- # of Teams: 16 Teams per Event, 4 players per Team
- Scoring
- When a board is eliminated the player gains points according to their placement (8 for 1st, 7 for 2nd, etc.)
- Add up each team’s Score
- Higher Score Wins (1st place breaks tie)
- Prizing ($2,500 USD Prize Pool Each)
- 1st: $1,250
- 2nd: $750
- 3rd: $500
Double Up Tournament
Grab a partner and come compete in the Double Up Tournament!
Day: Saturday, Dec 14
- Format
- Round 1: 32 Teams, 2 Games, Eliminate bottom 8 Teams
- Round 2: 24 Teams, 1 Game, Eliminate bottom 8 Teams
- Round 3: 16 Teams, 1 Game, Eliminate bottom 4 Teams
- Round 4: 12 Teams, 1 Game, Eliminate bottom 4 Teams
- Round 5: 8 Teams, 1 Game, Eliminate bottom 4 Teams
- Round 6: 4 Teams, 1 Game
- Scoring
- Earn points for placements as a team (4 for 1st, 3 for 2nd, 2 for 3rd, 1 for 4th), points never reset between rounds
- Teams with the most points move on to the next round until there are just 4 Teams left
- Prizing ($2,000 USD Prize Pool)
- 1st: $1000
- 2nd: $500
- 3rd: $300
- 4th: $200
4v4 Single Elimination
Assemble your dream team and compete in the 4v4 Single Elimination Tournament!

These events are perfect for players who want to take over free stations and play TFT for fun!
Mastermind
Challenge a friend or a rival and control 4 PCs each to determine the ultimate mastermind winner.

Double Up
Grab a partner and come play games of Double Up!

Surprise Macao-Exclusive TFT Mode
On the final day, creators and players will take to the stage before the Finals to play a special version of Set 13 designed exclusively for the Macao Open. After the showmatch, you can try it out yourself!

Normals
For when you want to just chill out and play some good old regular TFT with your new friends!

TFT Dev Q and A
Interested in finding out more about TFT directly from the devs who work on the game? Join in on our dev panels which will cover topics like behind the scenes design of the newest set, events, cosmetics, revivals, modes, and even the design to competitive pipeline. Panels will feature some of your favorite TFT devs including Mort (Design Director), Kent Wu (Finalization Lead), Travis Boese (Cosmetics, Events and Monetization Lead), Christina Jiang (Events and Revivals Product Lead), Julien Camaraza (Set Designer for our new set), Rodger Caudill, and Dylan Fraley (TFT Esports Lead), with more than a few surprise guests.
Engaging Viewing Experience
Spectators will have the opportunity to watch any game taking place at the event throughout the entire weekend. The Macao Open is an open floor event, giving attendees free roam of the game stations and the ability to view the games directly over their favorite players’ shoulders.
