Patch 13.8 is the last patch of Into the Arcane, I guess you could call it, Out of the Arcane, and we’re leaving it with a bang in the form of a second Anomaly round and a buff-load of buffs!
It's time for the last patch of Into the Arcane, also known as: Out of the Arcane!

As is tradition, we're turning our focus to making the last patch of the set as exciting as possible, and what better way to do so than with a bunch of buffs, the reintroduction of Powder's Champion Augment, AND a SECOND ANOMALY!

What!? Two Anomalies!?

ANOMALY

Send a second champion into the Anomaly? Why not? The first one you sent in seems fine.
  • On 5-5, a second Anomaly round appears in Standard and Double Up
  • Champions can only have one anomaly
  • Infectious Anomaly has been disabled

  • +1% odds starting 6-1 (9-1 in Hyper Roll)

  • No Encounter removed
  • Wind-up Monkey 8% ⇒ 12%. Powder has perfected her monkeys! The monkey now always grants all 3 of the positive outcomes, and never deals player damage.
  • Scuttle Puddle 7.5% ⇒ 10%
  • Triple Prismatic 5% ⇒ 6%
  • Wandering Trainer 4% ⇒ 5%
  • Loot Subscription 7% ⇒ 7.5%

AUGMENTS

We know we said Power's Champion Augment wasn't working…. But we fixed it, just in time. Trust us. It's gonna work this time.

We're already giving you another Anomaly; you don't need a third one.
  • Powder's Champion Augment has been re-enabled, and has been renamed to "This Will Work" .
  • This Will Work: Powder Ability Blast Radius: 4 ⇒ 5
  • This Will Work: Powder Ability Damage: 350/500/700 ⇒ 420/550/735
  • Another Anomaly has been disabled

TRAITS

We're giving Conqueror another boost to ensure it's stable enough in the mid-game to carry you into that late-game win.

Sometimes 2 Form Swapper is too little, and 4 is just too much. So why not 3?

  • Black Rose Sion AD Per Star Level: 12% ⇒ 15%
  • Conqueror Base AD/AP: 22/25/45% ⇒ 22/33/45%

Power will take a little longer for her first cast, but after that she'll be able to cast more frequently

  • Power's Monkeys are larger in size!

2-COST UNITS

Sett proved himself in the ring and is now formally a member of the Pit Fighters.
  • Sett Is now also a Pit Fighter

A patch full of buffs and Smeech gets a nerf!? I won't stand for this. Oh, wait, maybe this nerf is just the luck I need to three-star him uncontested…

4-COST UNITS

While Ambessa has been able to find success in various ways throughout the set, those ways have been too niche. We're giving her a generous buff that should open up Ambessa's carry options more broadly.
  • Ambessa Mana: 40/90 ⇒ 30/70
  • Ambessa AD: 68 ⇒ 70
  • Twitch AD: 70 ⇒ 71

5-COST UNITS

We're further tweaking Jinx slightly to make sure her ult goes off without a hitch

Buffs are coming to many Anomalies in anticipation of a chance to get picked twice in one game.
  • Arcana Overwhelming MR to AP converted: 30% ⇒ 50%
  • Avalanche of Armor Bonus Armor: 70 ⇒ 99
  • Berserker Rage HP Threshold: 70% ⇒ 85%
  • Defense Expert Percent Gained: 90% ⇒ 110%
  • Eagle Eye AD Per Sec: 6% ⇒ 9%
  • Heavy Hitter Cooldown: 2.5 sec ⇒ 1.5 sec
  • Hunger for Power HP & AD Gained: 66% ⇒ 75%
